Saplings of kiwi and other temperate fruits were distributed as part of the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana at Bakcha, Labi, in Mangan District on 03 March.
The distribution programme had area MLA TT Bhutia as chief guest and was carried out by Horticulture and Agriculture Departments and the Spices Board.
Over 100 families from various GPUs of the area received agricultural equipment, including a variety of crop and fruit seeds, plastic waterpipes, greenhouse sheets and mulching plastic for red chili cultivation, spraying machines, grass cutting scissors, power tillers, cardamom nursery allotment orders, Kiwi and other temperate fruit saplings.
