Bharatiya Janata Party-Sikkim organised an Ayushman Bharat Enrolment Camp in Tumin Lingee on the directions of the party’s Sikkim unit president, DR Thapa, on Sunday. A BJP press release informs that the camp was guided by BJP-Sikkim executive members, supported by IT executives and attracted a large turnout of beneficiaries who were provided with Ayushman Bharat Cards.
This scheme provides card-holders with free medical treatment facilities of up to Rs 5 lakh per family. The party, it is informed, registered 50 families for the scheme on 09 March.
The Sunday camp was held specifically for the elderly aged above 70 years at Patuk Kokoley under Tumin Lingee constituency, it is informed.
