Gyalshing,17th February 2023 (IPR):
A special Gram Sabha under 13th Darap-Singpheng GPU was held at its Gram Prashashan Kendra Darap,West Sikkim today.
The meeting was chaired by the Panchayat president Miss San Kumari Limboo.
The meeting had the presence of CMO District Hospital Gyalshing Shri Bikash Pradhan,BDO Gyalshing Shri Bijay K.Subba,AD PRI Shri Padam Gurung, Panchayat members of
Darap-Singpheng GPU,VAA,PAA,PDA,
Standing Committee,Bazar Committee,ICDS supervisor Ms. Lamit Lepcha,AWWs and AWHs,officials from lined department,GPU functionaries and general public.
Demands of each ward for the year 2023-24 was placed by the concerned ward panchayats and sequenced accordingly on priority basis for initiating further action.
AD PRI in his keynote address apprised the house that proper heed has to be taken by the ward panchayats and the public from now onwards while preparing GPDP for its fullest development and proper utilization of the resources.He further informed whatever demands are placed by the wards all works has to be converted to OSR generated basis and further urged the panchayats to update their village profile at the earliest for ready hand information and more authentication.
The meeting concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Panchayat vice president Shri Suk Hang Limboo.
