WANGCHUK BHUTIA, Mangan 26 Mar:
A ceremony to recognize the dedication of teachers was organized by Government Senior Secondary School Dikchu on 25 March, 2025. Nine teachers who devoted their winter vacation to the CM mentorship coaching were feted with tokens of appreciation.
The event had CEO Education Department, Chime Donka Denzongpa, as chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Deputy Director SL Giri, Ward Panchayat Lower Rakdong BB Gurung, Principal Santosh Kumar Chettri, SMC Chairperson Ram Lall Gurung, teachers, students, and staff.
The CEO applauded the teachers’ efforts and expressed admiration for the school’s academic achievements. SMC Chairperson, Ram Lall Gurung presented a request for additional teachers and computers to address the school’s existing shortages.
