SUMMIT REPORT, Gangtok 12 Mar:
A legal awareness programme, in observance of International Women’s Day and National Legal Aid Week for Women, was organised at the 11th Battalion, ITBP Pegong in Magan District today.
The programme had the presence of District & Session Judge-cum-Chairperson DLSA Subarna Rai, Panel Advocate Chenga Doma Bhutia, Psychiatrist from District Hospital Mangan and Commandant 11th Bn ITBP, Pegong, Ratan Singh Sonal along with all officers.
Vice President, Himveer Wives Welfare Association [HWWA] of the 11th Bn, ITBP, Tanuja Kaloni welcomed District & Session Judge Subarna Rai.
On the occasion, a lecture was delivered by the District & Sessions Judge on legal awareness aid and by advocate Chenga Doma Bhutia on women sexual harassment & mental health.
