Anand Basnet, Gangtok, 18 Jan: The golden jubilee celebrations of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Ralap, entered its 18th day today, and featured the second semifinal match of the Men’s Open Inter-Sikkim Football Tournament. Held at the Ralap Dumping Ground, the tournament attracted the participation of 36 teams. Advisor to the CM, P Bhutia, was present as chief guest today.
Today’s semifinal was played between Makha Police OP and Sunshine United, which Makha OP won 2-0. Biraj Rai, wearing jersey number 4, was adjudged the Man of the Match.
The final match is scheduled for 20 January and will see Makha Polcie OP face Ben Boys for the title.
