Arjuna awardee Jas Lal Pradhan was re-elected president of Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association [SABA] on Sunday.
A press release informs that election for the new SABA executive body was conducted under the supervision of observer from Boxing Federation of India, Swapan Banerjee, and Returning Officer MN Dhakal and had the participation of 33 members.
Accordingly, B Tshering Bhutia was elected vice-president, Anjana Thapa general secretary, Pappu Pradhan joint secretary, Sahadeo Chettri treasurer and Dorjee Dadul Pulger, Palden Lachungpa, Lobsang Tamang, Sanjay Subba and Tashi Tshering Bhutia as executive members of the association.
Likewise, the association also elected Sarky Subba as technical vice-president, Arun Dagar as financial advisor, Lobsang Tamang as chairperson of finance committee and Dorjee Dadul Pulger, Ganesh Subba, Hasta Bahadur Lamichaney, Sanjay Subba and Keshav Pradhan as members of finance committee.
The new committee also has Manoj Limboo as chairperson Technical ROC and Pritam Shilal as secretary Technical ROC and Sandhya Gurung as chairperson coach committee, MK Pradhan as advisor and RB Bis wakarma as technical advisor.
