Gangtok, 27 Dec:
The Government of Sikkim has announced a seven-day period of mourning following the passing of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on the night of 26 Dec, 2024. The state expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the prominent leader.
During this mourning period, which will last from 26 Dec, 2024 to 01 Jan, 2025, the national flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the state to honor Dr Singh’s legacy.
