Silgadi Nepali Literature Institute has decided to award the donation Khaling literature honour to Subash Deepak, translator and writer of the institution organized every year on the occasion of Agam Singh Giri Jayanti and Dan Khaling Jayanti.
Today the selection committee meeting was held at Savita Gomden Literature Room (Gomden Tea Bar), Salbari. The committee unanimously decides Subash Deepak will be honored with Dan Khaling Sahitya Samman this year. Clothing, souvenir and cash Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty thousand) will be given as honor. Honor will be awarded by a senior member of Khaling family.
Senior writer Gyanendra Khatiwada, Professor Kavita Lama, and Deputy Professor Meghnath Chhetri participated in the selection committee as a member. Dr. Dapchhiring Lepcha, Secretary of the Institute, played the role of the coordinator in the meeting.
Honor ceremony of Dan Khaling Sahitya Samman 2024 will be organized on coming 26th December 2024 at Devkota Sangh, Pradhan Nagar, Silgadi.
