Anand Basnet, 27 Dec Gangtok: The Sikkimese Moolniwasi Suraksha Sangh [SMSS], led by president Ratna Lal Sapkota, held a press conference and alleged widespread issuance of fake Certificates of Identification and voter ID cards in the State, a practice which he insisted was happening and which undermined the rights of the Sikkimese. The organization also alleged illegal subletting of shop licenses, issuance of unauthorized vehicle permits, and irregularities in lottery sales. SMSS has urged the concerned departments to take immediate action to investigate and ensure accountability.
