Summit Report, Gangtok 10 Mar:
The 24th State Kyorugi and the 14th State Poomsae Taekwondo Championship and Open Championship 2025, organized by the Sikkim Amateur Taekwondo Association (SATA), concluded today at Paljor Stadium Indoor Hall.
United Taekwondo Dojang won the Champion of Champions title while the Poomsae event was lifted by MCM Gangtok and Kyorugi by NSTA-Mangan.
A total of 30 clubs fielded Sub-Junior, Junior, Cadet and Seniors teams. Gold medal winners from the Sub-Junior, Junior, Cadet, and Senior categories will now represent Sikkim at the national level.
Education Minister Raju Basnet was present as chief guest along with the Chief Minister’s wife, Krishna Kumari Rai, who was present as guest of honour, and Political Secretary to the CM, Bikash Basnet.
