Team Sikkim secured the 6th position and bagged the Fair Play Award at the Northeast TSD Rally held recently in Guwahati, Assam.
Organised by Heritage Northeast and Anchal in association with Eastern Motorsports, this was the 6th edition of the Northeast TSD Rally, an event recognised by the Federation of Motor Sports Club of India.
This year, the rally attracted the participation of 24 cars from various parts of the country.
The rally was held in Open and Northeast category. SK Ajgar Ali and Mustafa won the open category while the team of Harsh Bagrodia, Nikunj Harlal and Vidit Agarwal won the Northeast category. Team Sikkim was represented by Annapurna Alley (Driver), Puran Tamang (Navigator) and Bikash Chettri (co-Driver). The three-day rally had one night stage and two day stages and was flagged off from Nehru Stadium Guwahati on 10th February and concluded at Kaziranga National Park on 12th February, reaching there via Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary covering a distance of around 370 kms.
Team Sikkim was participating in the rally for the third time.
